What is YoWAY 250? Within the Moolah Shrine in St. Louis are two very active units that participate in a large number of the same parades throughout the year. One unit is the unit known for the "Little Yellow Cars". You see these grown men driving miniature Jeeps and '32 Roadsters - performing maneuvers all the way through the parade route. Their Unit is known as YOMO. The other unit drives and entertains spectators in Mini-Indy race cars in the parades, and they are known as the Gateway 500 unit. Both units spend their time and money doing parades to call attention to Shrinedom and especially the Shrine Hospitals for Children. Once a year the two units work together on a fund raiser to assist them to have funds to continue the work they do for the kids. This fund raiser welcomes every one - Shriner and non-Shriner - to join them in the Moolah Shrine Ballroom for a night of fun at a "Night-At-The-Races" (horse races, that is). Click here to see 2009 "Night-At-The-Races" information. For information on attending this function, call 314-575-3231.
